Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of autopilotsystems.org, the Autopilot Systems client platform (including any portal or application made available at a domain we operate, such as app.autopilotsystems.org), and the automation, website, messaging, and AI services we provide (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you have a signed service agreement with Autopilot Systems, that agreement controls where it differs from these Terms.

Who we are

Autopilot Systems ("we," "us," or "our") is an AI automation studio serving Santa Barbara and Ventura County, California. We build and operate lead response, messaging, review, phone, and website systems for local service businesses, in part on top of third-party platforms that we license and configure for our clients.

Client accounts and platform access

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate business information and to keep it current.
• Access to the client platform is provided as part of an active service engagement and may be suspended or removed when an engagement ends, subject to your service agreement.

Acceptable use

• Use the Services only for lawful business purposes.
• Messaging sent through the Services (SMS, email, voice) must comply with applicable laws and carrier requirements, including the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and A2P 10DLC registration rules. Only message contacts who have given appropriate consent, and honor opt-outs.
• Do not attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Services or their underlying platforms.

Fees and billing

Fees for our services are stated in your proposal, invoice, or service agreement. Recurring subscriptions bill in advance on the agreed cycle and remain due while the engagement is active. Usage-based costs (such as phone, SMS, or AI usage) may be billed as incurred. Late or failed payments may result in suspension of the Services.

Third-party platforms

Parts of the Services run on third-party providers — including our CRM and messaging platform, telephony carriers, hosting providers, and AI model providers. Their availability and behavior are outside our full control, and your use of features they power is also subject to their terms. We are not liable for outages or changes caused by third-party platforms, though we will work to resolve issues promptly.

Intellectual property

We retain ownership of our tools, templates, automations, workflows, and know-how, including systems we configure for you on licensed platforms. You retain ownership of your business content and data. Where your service agreement provides for asset transfer or buyout on exit (for example, a website or domain), those terms control.

Service changes and termination

Either party may end an engagement as described in the applicable service agreement. On termination, we will offboard you in an orderly way, and you may request an export of your contact data. We may modify or discontinue features of the Services with reasonable notice where practical.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is." We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, such as lead volume, review counts, response rates, or revenue. AI-generated responses (chat and voice) are automated and may occasionally be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing how they represent your business.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Autopilot Systems will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from the Services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Services in the three months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Santa Barbara County, California.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
